We are currently seeking a dedicated and patient caregiver to provide afternoon support for a 9-year-old male with autism in Lincoln Park. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a calm, compassionate demeanor and a genuine interest in working with children with special needs.
📍 Location: Lincoln Park, MI
🕒 Schedule: Weekday afternoons after 330pm and weekends any time as needed.
💵 Compensation: Weekly pay
🎓 Training: Paid training provided
Position Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, one-on-one care in a safe and supportive environment
Assist with after-school routines, including snacks, calming activities, or play
Use positive behavior strategies and communication techniques tailored to the child’s needs
Maintain open communication with parents or guardians
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children, especially those with autism or other developmental differences
A calm, patient, and reliable personality
Willingness to learn and adapt to the child’s unique needs (training provided)
Reliable transportation and availability for consistent weekday afternoons
Ability to pass a background check
