T he Pr o j e c t M ana g er i s r e s p on s i b l e f or the overall financial responsibilities of the project such as p r o j e ct m ana g e m ent, s c hed u li n g , completing pa p e rw o r k , ongoing co m m un i ca t i o n with all stakeholders, and owning projects from inception through completion. 

E SS EN T IAL DUTI E S A N D R E S P ON S I B I L I T I E S

• Create and d e li v er a complete p r o j e c t p l an t o t he p r o j ect t eam that will enable su c ce s s f ul SQDCME ( safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, environment)
• R e v i ew all project i n f o r m a ti o n w i t h e s t i m a t o rs including con t r ac t s , bud g e t s , j ob s t a r t and fi n i s h da t e s , j ob r eq u ir e m en t s, and sub m itt a l s
• Complete job set up inc l ud i ng the submittal package, material purchase order, work order and m anu f a c t u r er s ’ warranty in order to en s u r e a p r op e r han d - o f f t o the Superintendent and F o r e m an
• Set up and enter an overall project estimate into the company’s accounting system to properly monitor and track all associated costs that will hit the project’s cost center
• Schedule pre-job meetings, time out or “in progress meetings” and close out meetings with all relevant parties involved with the project
• Mon i t o r all assigned projects t o e n su r e co m p li a n ce t o all contractual obligations
• Work closely with Superintendents a n d Fo re m en ensuring t h ey ha v e e v e r y t h i ng t hey need t o c o m p l e t e t h e j ob on t i m e and on bud g et
• Orde r m a t e ri a l s, i s s u e c han g e o r d e r s, and update billing as required
• R epo r t on e ach p r o j e c t t o department heads and e nsu r e communication of t r ue pe r f o r m ance l e v e l s
• Active participation in w ee k l y depa r t m ent m ee ti n g s

QUALI F IC A TI O NS

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or extensive relevant work experience

• 5 of experience working i n a co m m e r c i al r o o fi ng en v ir on m en t .
• Extensive k no wl ed g e of v a ri ous co m m e r c i a l r o o f i n g s y s t e m s, m a t e ri a l s, and i n s t a l l a t i on m e t hods.
• Two or more years of experience d i r e c t i ng l a r g e - s c a l e co m m e r c i a l r oo f i ng p r o j ec t s including:
  • i n t e r p r e t i ng r oo fi ng p l an s , sp e c i f i c a ti o ns a nd s t an d a r d s
  • de t e r m i n i ng r o of t y pes and e s t i m a ti ng m a t e r i a l s , ho u r s, a nd r ep l ace m ent c os t s
  • evaluating roo f i ng p r o d uct a cce p t a b i l i t y and de v e l op i ng w a r r an t i e s
  • creating and m on i t o r i ng con s t r u c t i on a n d co n t r act d ocu m en t s.
• Strong understanding of s t a t e a nd l o c al b u i l d i ng codes i n c l ud i ng U n if o r m B u il d i ng C ode, and e l ec t r i c a l and p l u m b i ng codes.
• Solid working kno w l ed g e o f con s t r uc t i on s i t e de v e l o p m en t ; c o m m e r c i al c o ns t r u c t i on, d e m o liti on, and r e m odel p r oc e du r e s .
• Must be able to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
