About the Role:
Are you passionate about creating impactful media strategies and delivering outstanding results? We are seeking a Strategic Media Buyer / Planner to play a pivotal role in executing and optimizing media strategies across linear and digital video, audio, print, and out-of-home (OOH) channels. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape media campaigns, drive results, and build meaningful relationships with clients, internal teams, and media partners.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of media planning and buying, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute media buying strategies aligned with client marketing objectives.
  • Plan and manage tactical media campaigns across various channels, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Campaign Measurement & Insights:

  • Interpret and apply measurement strategies provided by the Client Strategy team to evaluate media performance.
  • Set up campaigns to meet measurement objectives and demonstrate clear links to business outcomes.

Negotiation & Value Creation:

  • Negotiate competitive media rates and secure value-added opportunities to maximize ROI for clients.
  • Deliver superior outcomes in terms of exposure and effectiveness, beyond cost savings.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors to foster partnerships and explore innovative opportunities.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and platforms to enhance client campaigns.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Analyze campaign metrics and provide actionable insights to internal teams and clients.
  • Prepare and present post-buy analyses, highlighting key outcomes and lessons learned.

Team Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure alignment on tactical strategies, ad specifications, and campaign requirements.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of hands-on media buying experience, with expertise in media fundamentals such as reach/frequency, consumer/market research, plan development, and analytics.
  • Proficiency with media tools and platforms, including Advantage, Nielsen, Comscore, and Strata.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and insights effectively to internal teams and clients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to negotiate competitive rates and secure added value while fostering strong vendor relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and connect results to client business goals.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with experience mentoring and training team members.
