Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, organized Nanny to provide personalized assistance to the family. The Nanny’s responsibilities include running errands, maintaining household inventory, shopping for groceries, and assisting with the daily functions of the household. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and a drive to make things easier for others. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the efficiency of the overall household in a confidential and professional manner.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate family logistics such as school pickups, after-school activities, and playdates.
  • Assist with meal preparation and meal planning.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying, and organizing.
  • Help children with homework and educational activities.
  • Provide care for children, elders, or pets as required.
  • Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and other personal tasks.
  • Help plan and execute social events and family outings.
  • Communicate with other household staff or service providers as necessary.
  • Care for children during occasional overnight trips/date nights.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Nanny or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of house maintenance.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with basic meal preparation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • High School degree.


Work Environment:

Private home setting. Some travel may be required for errands or family vacations.

Reporting Structure:

Reports directly to the family or designated head of the household.

Salary:

$18 - 20/hour
