Plant Operations Manager (Food/Beverage/Pharma/CPG)

Fast-Track Opportunity to Plant Manager!

Modesto, CA | $120,000–$170,000 + 15% bonus + 9% 401(k) match | Full Relocation

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Plant Operations Manager to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in the Food and Beverage industry. This role offers a significant leadership opportunity with the potential to rapidly advance to a Plant Manager position. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving operational efficiency and team engagement in a large-scale manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and production planning in a fast-paced environment with up to 1,000 employees.
Directly manage a team of 150–300 employees, with two direct reports, ensuring high performance and engagement.
Implement standard work processes and lead change management initiatives to enhance operational excellence.
Promote continuous improvement through disciplined execution and autonomous maintenance.
Collaborate with HR, Maintenance, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to achieve production targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or CPG manufacturing.
At least 7 years in operations or plant leadership roles.
Experience in managing medium-to-large facilities with 400+ employees.
Strong background in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Union experience is highly preferred.
Proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated passion for developing talent and driving team engagement.
