The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Coverage Analytics Policy Analyst (OPA3) to join an excellent team. This is a full time, classified permanent position with Health Policy and Analytics.
What you will do!
The Coverage Analytics Policy Analyst (OPA3) position will lead development of OHP Bridge health care coverage and quality metrics, providing subject matter expertise to inform the selection and implementation of metrics, coordinating with other existing metrics programs to ensure continuity and coordination. In doing this work, this position will collaborate and consult with the OHP Bridge Lead Policy Analyst, OHP Bridge Project Management Team, OHP Bridge Program Advisory Committee, and other oversight committees.
This position will also support broader OHP Bridge and other coverage related policy analysis and communications, including but not limited to work related to provider and coordinated care organization payment models across programs, and analyses in support of OHP Bridge Basic Health Program Trust Fund management. The policy analyst will work closely with research and program staff in the Health Policy and Analytics Division and other divisions within OHA, such as Medicaid, Equity and Inclusion, and Public Health.
This position will present information on healthcare coverage metrics and other coverage data, coordinated care organization performance on quality metrics, and other coverage-related research, and will present and defend findings and recommendations based on this information. The position will directly work with interested parties, including, but not limited to, coordinated care organizations, providers, OHP Bridge members, health plans, legislators, researchers, other state agencies, and community-based organizations.
Work Location:
Optional 100% remote, 100% in-person or hybrid options are available, with office space in Portland or Salem.

What we are looking for:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
